Water Pollution Engineering Committee Update
The Water Pollution Engineering Committee is currently being reorganized and is looking for new members. The committee's purpose has been revised to be more focused with a purpose of reviewing, evaluating, and encouraging advancements in collection, treatment, and re-use of municipal wastewater and its environment impact. Bill Boyle has agreed to be the acting Chair in reorganizing the committee. This committee has the potential to address many issues through the establishment of task committees on many timely topics such as BNR, TMDLs, Re-use, Disinfection, Emerging Technologies, Vulnerability and Risk Assessment, Updating Standards and MOPs, and CMOM/CSO-SSO.
