The Eden Again Project

The Eden Again Project was formed in 2001 by a group of Iraqi expatriates alarmed at the loss of their beloved marshlands. The third edition of the Eden Again Project's newsletter is now available at www.edenagain.org . The newsletter provides a brief overview of the status of the Mesopotamian Marshlands, an update on the Eden Again Project activities and staff in Iraq, and links to more detailed information - including a clickable map with a substantial gallery of recent photographs from the marshlands. The news from the Mesopotamian Marshlands is astounding. In early 2003, less than 10% of the Mesopotamian Marshlands remained. At this time, 40% of the marshlands have been re-flooded or restored.
