Joint Meeting of the EWRI Laws and Institutions Committee and the EWRI Water Regulatory Standards CommitteeThe EWRI Water Regulatory Standards Committee is scheduled to meet on June 26, 2004 from 8am-12pm at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, UT in conjunction with the EWRI Laws and Institutions Committee. The purpose of the meeting is to approve minutes; to discuss the structure of the two committees (new officers and membership); to report on current activities and publications (the Regulated Riparian Model Water Code, the Appropriative Rights Model Water Code, Guidelines for the Shared Use of Transboundary Water Resources, Model Agreements for the Shared Use of Transboundary Water Resources, Water Regulation and Trading in Humid Areas, and Integrated Management of Water Resources); to vote on whether to begin committee ballot for Appropriative Rights Model Water Code, Guidelines for Shared Use of Transboundary Water Resources, Model Agreements for the Shared Use of Transboundary Water Resources, Water Regulation and Trading in Humid Areas; to discuss future activities (publications, new task committees, session sponsorship, and other activities); to discuss budget issues (budgets for 2005, reimbursement for travel to Salt Lake City); and to review and schedule future meetings.
